God Fulfills His promises

Luke 2: 25-30

God knows the future, He holds our future, and If He promises He can do all things for us. His words are everlasting and when He promises to fulfill His words, He can do it immediately.

We find in the life of Simeon how God miraculously fulfilled His word in His life.

God is always the same
He is true to His word
He has a purpose for our life
He fulfills His promises


Simeon was a faithful man, a devout and righteous man in the temple, The spirit of the Lord was his soul mate, He had an intimate relationship with Him, Holy spirit let Him know the things that is to come and even after the birth of Jesus, He was moved by the holy Spirit to come to the temple to see the son of righteousness. He was filled with joy at seeing Jesus Christ. His joy overflowed by the fulfillment of the word of the Spirit. He then asserted that He could die in peace now.

Our life is always uncertain. We might be waiting for something that we don’t get, we might be discouraged that things that we desire don’t come to fulfillment as quickly as we desire, but God is ever true, if He promises something He will surely fulfill. He will let it happen even in our lifetime as it happened in the life of Simeon.

One more Lesson to learn from Simeon’s life is that, we must humbly seek the world of God and follow the prompting of the spirit as we patiently wait for the promises to be fulfilled in our life. Simeon didn’t give up following God in any moment. He devoutly seek His word, lived a righteous life as He waited for the Messiah to come.


God has promised that He will be always with us and that He will fulfill His promise in our Life, But we are to keep in touch with Him every day and every moment, we should seek His guidance in our Life, and then surely we will see how wonderfully all things comes in our life.

Mere faith without the constant practice of it everyday is simply trying to achieve something without any effort. Can anyone achieve or gain a benefit without little effort? How hard we need to work just to have something to eat!, How hard the ambitious people work and toil, to achieve their goal. How can we have the greatest blessings without little dedication and sincerity? Isn’t that seems little awkward, surly it is.

The Lord waits just to see us completely faithful to His business, He wants us to allow the spirit of the Lord to move us, He desires that every devotee of His will humbly seek His guidance through holy spirit, walk with Him and talk with him and if we do so surely He shall fulfill all His wonderful promises in our life.


Then why not start working out from today? Why not ask the Holy Spirit to move within us now onwards and let us witness how majestically God works in our Life.

Every soul that sincerely believes in His and Listen to the faint voice of the spirit will never be lost. He will lead them to Higher and better and richer success in Life.

Good Evening friends, this is my happy privilege that I could stand here. I like to thank the brother who has given me this Privilege. This may be the first time for me to stand here with the word of God. I have nothing to share unless God gives me power to share and so before we meditate on his words lets bow our head and pray...

Let me ask you something, how many of you don’t like to be successful in life? This question seems to be very funny because all of you sitting here want to be successful, want to become someone great in life. Right? And today I am going to talk about this topic Success. I specially like to draw your attention on the word
“Success”
if you spell the word success....it has 7 letters and each letter has a great meaning to make one successful in life..
God also wants us to be successful in life, the bible says that God wants us that we become happy and can a have a hope..
Let us see each letter in a order ,if you want to note down you can do it. The first letter of the word success is “S”
S= SET YOUR GOAL

How many of you have a goal? You know we are born here with a purpose. God has created us with a purpose, with a goal.. The bible says God planed for us even when we were in the womb of our mother.. How surprising it is! When God created Adam, He created with a goal and that is Adam and eve should worship God with the dignity of their heart. The same God has a purpose for us...When God has a Purpose for us..
We all also should Set a goal.... What you want to become? You must know it... where you want to land with your life... set your goals for that...
Life without goal is like a boat in the ocean without rudder... You can’t reach the Moon unless you set your goals that you want it.. If you didn’t set your goals until now, set it today. Otherwise you will land somewhere which you will not like.

The Next letter is U
U= UNDERSTAND THE OBSTACLES...
Jesus said, Remember you are living in a world which is not your home, you are to prepare yourself for the new home called heaven. And so you will have to go through lot of troubles for me. But keep faith in me I will be with you.

Yea that’s true.. When you walk on the road, if you look up in the sky and walk, it is sure you will stumble and fall down, because there may be ups and downs on the way.. And so when you walk, you must be conscious that there is always something that you can stumble off.
So when you set your goals, try to understand and find out what kind of obstacles can be on your way as a block to fulfil your dreams. When you see that those obstacles will come on your way with the goal you set, and if you find those obstacles can be solved then carry on, otherwise find out someway to solve them.
Ellen white says, “obstacles are the things that we see when we take our eyes away from the Goal”.
Remember a good preparation makes you to win half of the battle. And remember obstacles are there but a proper understanding of them helps to solve them too.

C=CLEAR YOUR OWN MIND OF DOUBTS
Most often we think, whether I can make it or not... we most of us think that this I cannot do, that I cannot do. Going to the stage oh mine whether I will be able or not. If we develop doubts about our goal we will never be able to reach to our goal... You cannot cross the sea confusing as to whether putting your legs in two boats or in one, Can you?.. That means never allow yourself to doubt about your goals that you can or cannot reach your goals. Don’t develop two different minds in you. The first time I Learned riding a bi-cycle, I always doubted that may be I will hit somebody on the way, and you know I did it many times but from the time I cut off the word “May Be” I became a good cycle rider. Don’t Put “If” when you decide for a goal. Clear the mind that you don’t have any doubt about your goals..
C=CREATE A POSITIVE MENTAL PICTURE...
I don’t know how many of you are positive thinker or pessimist.. But as for me I also fail to think positively about me. But you know most of the time we fail to win in our life because we think negative about ourselves and about the goal we have. Never ever underestimate your goals and you. Always think that whatever you do is worthy. Think that you have something in yourselves that can bring about a change. You will never ever will be able to success unless you think Big about you and about your goals. Think yourself as a Big Frog in a small Pond but not a small Frog in a Big Pond. If you think yourself foolish, you are. Think yourself as Intelligent and you will be. Create a Positive mental Picture
E=EMBRANCE THE CHALLENGE.
In this world everything you do, there is always a challenge. There is competition in works, in college, between teachers, students, between fellow friends. When I sit in my class, I find there is a challenge of getting better marks between my classmates. Everyone wants to win and want to become successful.. Among all of them if you keep yourself as a dead lion nothing worthy will achieve in life. When you set a goal, take every challenge to reach that.. Embrace it, you cannot become Alexander Fleming putting your hands in your pocket, you need to take a challenge that you will become like him... and then work towards it and you will surely become...If you want to Become Abraham Lincoln find a new definition of democracy , take a challenge.
S= STAY ON TRACK.
Surely you have seen racers in the 500 meters or 1000 meters running race that they are asked to
Follow the track, if they fail to do that, they are disqualified. You will never become successful if you run 1500 meters without following the track that you suppose to follow. That means if you want to become a Pastor. choose something that makes you pastor. If you want to become a doctor study something that leads you to become a doctor.. Don’t beat around the bush.. You won’t be able to kill the snake unless you break its head. You will never become a doctor if you study geography.
Don’t worry if you fail once in one course, still work but don’t change the track then you loose your aim.

S= SHOW THE WORLD, YOU CAN DO IT.
Make yourself to think... nothing is impossible and you can make your dreams come true. Create a urge in yourself that you are going to show your friend that you are the best than what he thinks about you.
Make yourself to think, no matter what people says about your goal, You will make it to come true..Remember once you climb the ladder of success everyone will praise you.. But until you are down the ladder everyone will tease you and make you feel worse about you...
So dear friends come on lets think that we can do better than what we are doing today. We can make impossible possible...
As you all write your exams start to work from today to become successful...
Remember God help those, who help themselves...
God gives opportunity, success depends upon the use made of them...

God wants us always to be happy, always to be successful.. Why should we remain sad and unsuccessful? Why should we become Taxi drivers when we can become Billie Graham? Let’s think great.

Jeremiah Says, “ For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope”
Our God is great... Let us arise and work so that We can become successful in life and can work for him.. And make the world to know about the greater home called heaven...

Many people around the world have tried vainly to define what really life is. What they have defined is nothing but simply definition out of their own experience. Life can never be defined altogether. It is a comprehensive and complex idea of human existence. Life is a cycle as Hindu religion believe, it starts with birth and ends with death and the cycle still continues with birth and date. It is completely a idea based on religious faith. Psychologist like Fraud tried to define life in the aspects of stages, which starts with the anal stage and ends with the adulthood. So what we come to know about the life is just what we understand from our own perspective of it. And surely these ideas of life may have some truth on it but it all depends how one takes it.

As like anyone else, I have my own view of life. To me life is a journey, may be to achieve something or to loose. Life to me is an unending journey yet the purpose is to reach and destination. To me life is not limited to any boundary, its open ended, as we take it and mould it , it takes its own shape.

Life is again to me a battle, battle in the battlefield on this earth. I say this because unconsciously or consciously we are at battle with the nature, with unfavorable weather, death, and natural disaster, battle to live and survive. When we talk about the survival of the fittest, we can simply understand it simply says of someone’s power to fight against the odd strongly in order to survive. And surely survival requires a struggle with odds and evens of life.

Some stated life as a game of chess, well I somewhat agree with it too. I agree with it because in life too we are playing different roles and different games, and if you are proficient in your game, only then u can be a winner otherwise drastically a looser. We are surely actors where some are kings and queens; some are simply the common folks, how true they are in our life.

A religious view of Christians seems to go to an incomprehensible phenomenon where is it said that man is God’s creation with a purpose. Being a Christian from my childhood and born with the attitude and cognitive idea of the same idea, I believe somewhat it seems to be nice answer to life’s definition.

The human being will go on and on defining what life really is, but I think that right definition of life will always lay on ones understanding of this phenomenon in his or her own life. Life is always what we think of it everyday and what we experience everyday. May be this statement contradictory of what you believe, I am not discarding your idea of life, yet continue to expand the horizon of your understanding of life. Life’s best definition is life itself.

Every moment of this strange and lovely life from dawn to dusk, is a miracle!

Somewhere always, a rose is opening its petal to dawn

Somewhere always, a flock of birds flying in the open sky.
Somewhere always, bees are looking to every bud to gather honey.
Somewhere always, fountains flowing with murmuring sound down the mountain and valleys.
Somewhere always, birds are chatting sweetly in early hour of a lovely morning.
Somewhere always, some one is praying silently and reverently
Somewhere always, some one is chanting the mantras of God.
Somewhere always, some one is experiencing the sweet melodies of earthly or heavenly music.
Somewhere always, Love is growing with passion and desire in human heart.
Somewhere always, People like mother Teresa working to give hope to hopeless and neglected.
Somewhere always, a river is running with its full force towards the sea
Somewhere always, a sea meets with the oceans to share its burden.
Somewhere always, someone is praising the Creator of this Universe

Not one but all acknowledge the awesome presence of wonderful, compassionate, ever loving, ever friendly and caring God. Oh How wonderful HE Is!!!!!!!!!

Unknown Destination

UNKNOWN DESTINATION

I walked through the dusty road
I thought so many things
But one question troubled me
Where is my destination?

I traveled by government bus
Did not dare to take rickshaw
Bending through the window pan
I enjoyed the nature’s love;
But one question troubled me;
Where is my destination?

I went to Church, Temple
Humbly prayed and rejoiced
I learned songs, heard orator,
But one question troubled me;
Where is my destination?

I attended the birthday party,
Danced and sang with Lata didi,
Heart thrilled, souls deepen;
I changed the channel am to fm
But one question troubled me
Where is my destination?

I read Bible, Quaran,Gitas,
I watched movies, heard lectures
I climbed mountains, watched cricketers,
But one question troubled me;
Where is my destination?

I dreamed an angel,
Fall in love again and again
I rolled myself on comfortable couch
I though endless, ate less;
But one question troubled me;
Where is my destination?

I changed my career
Science to commerce, commerce to Arts;
I looked for hope, bright future
I slept late, got up early,
I dreamed my love, missed her badly;
But one question troubled me;
Where is my destination?





I looked for answer, asked my teacher,
I asked my fellow men, now and then
I indulged myself in everywhere,
I shed my tears, which came rare;
But nobody answered, all were quiet,
But same question still bothers me,
Where is my destination?

Life as it is

To me life is a dream
it is a day to cherish
it is a journey
it is a sand that you can never depend
It is uncertain
There is no end to it
life is worries of everyday
It is cherishing dreams
So many things
I donot know
